Have you ever made your own yoghurt?
Do you buy your own Kefir and would like to make your own?
Are you wondering what all the fuss is about with these strange fermented foods?
Whatever your level of experience or level of interest, this is for you. We welcome beginners and those with more experience who can help us all to learn.
This evening, we will explore a variety of familiar fermented foods and drinks, which are relatively simple to make at home as well as commonly found for sale.
Kombucha is fermented green tea, whilst Kefir and Yoghurt are 2 different ways of fermenting milk.
I will be leading this session, although I am not an expert, I would describe myself as an experimenter with a few years of experience. I hope this will show you how easy it is for anyone to start making these fermented products.
The microbial processes will involved in making these products and demonstrate how to make them at home. I’ll take a look at the health benefits and share some current research. I’ll make sure you have enough information to make them at home. As always, there will be a chance to taste a variety of shop-bought and homemade Kombuchas, Kefir, and yogurt.
For those of you who have been experimenting at home, if you would like to bring some of your creations, there will be a chance to show and tell!
A great chance to meet up again or for the first time.
Please bring your experience and or your questions and let’s start fermenting.
Tickets are £20 per person – please email me at info@nutritionbyrosie.co.uk to secure your place
